Who Am I?

Hello! My name is Katherine Dobbs, but you can call me Katie! I'm a Vocal Performance Major at DePauw University with two minors in German Studies and Italian Cultural Studies. Right now I'm in the second semester of my junior year. I'm 20 years old and am developing into a dramatic mezzo-soprano!

I'm a very ambitious person, and I have big dreams! My current goal is to graduate from DePauw University and go into grad school. I'm currently looking at different programs and am trying to find what fits me best!

So, what is this blog going to be about? Well, I currently have plans to share my experiences as a singer and hopefully give inspiration to other singers! I plan on writing about what I've learned in college, what has benefited me in my studies, and overall positive posts to keep us all going in these crazy times. Plus, I love to write and am hoping this will be a great outlet for me! I hope you'll join me as I share my experiences, and perhaps maybe you'll learn something new!
